SANTI CAZORLA, JACK WILSHERE AND PETR CECH RETURN TO BOOST ARSENAL

Three injured Arsenal first team players that consist of creative midfielder Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and goal keeper, Petr Cech are set to return to boost The Gunners strength as they make the last push this season. The injuries came at a very important period for the team, adding to the woes of Arsene Wenger.

The team is now out of the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup, with the League Cup already lifted by Manchester City this season. The English Premier League has also slipped out of their reach with first-placed Leicester City leading Arsenal with 11 points. Arsenal is still trying to win the EPL since 2004 when they won it last.

David Ospina has been decent in cover for Petr Cech since his month-long injury. Ospina was in goal when Arsenal replayed the fifth round against Hull in the FA cup. He also was in goal when they Arsenal had a face-off with West Brom in the premier league. In the game against Barcelona, Everton, Tottenham and Watford, David Ospina tool charge of the goal post.

Cazorla has been on the sidelines due to an Achilles tendon injury while Jack Wilsere suffered from a calf and shin injury that has left him out of Arsenal season-long.

Cazorla started the season well before injury problems kept him out of the team during the crucial part of the season. With few games left to play, Arsenal would likely just focus on retaining their spot for Europe next season, with six games left to play in the EPL.

Jack Wilshere was widely criticized when he was in the news for being questioned by the police after a brawl. The player has been missing in action for nine months and only shows up in the news when caught on camera smoking, swearing or disturbing. The player’s contract renewal talks have been put on hold.
