Arsenal manager Unai Emery continue to insists that playmaker Mesut Ozil remains in his plans despite the German not featuring in the last five games for the club. The 30-year old has been linked with a move away from the club this transfer winter window with several clubs interested.
Ozil’s commitment and work rate were criticized in his final days in the German national team shirt. This has been the case in his recent Arsenal performances but Emery says he would still hold on to the playmaker.

According to Evening Standard, the north London club are reluctant to be held to ransom by the Welshman and they have told the midfielder that he cannot expect a salary rise similar to that of Mesut Ozil.
